Abstract

The Reflective Pedagogical Paradigm (PPR) approach is a learning model that
combines and applies real world problems and the development of human values where
interaction occurs between lecturers and students. This research aims to determine the results
of the implementation of PPR on Trigonometry material seen from the aspects of competence,
conscience and compassion. The research subjects were 35 students of the Nutrition and
Animal Feed study program as participants in the Mathematics course. This research was
carried out at St. Polytechnic. Wilhelmus. The research results show that the implementation
of the PPR approach has an effect on student achievement as indicated by the results of
student competence, conscience and compassion. In the competence aspect, the percentage
changes from 40% to 80% where the knowledge element has increased, for the conscience
aspect there is an increase in predetermined attitudes from 3.25 to 4.25 and for the
compassion aspect there is a score change from 2.66 to a score 4.33.
