Abstract

Abstract : Disease due to parasite infestation is one of the most detrimental diseases
in farm animals. In this case, helmintiasis attacks several piglets and causes the pigs to
become weak and experience anorexia. The results of laboratory examination found
several nematode worm eggs of more than one type. Treatment is carried out by giving
anthelmintics, antibiotics and vitamins. After treatment or therapy using Albendazole
and sulfaproz injection for approximately 14 days, the feces of the case animal are
taken for laboratory examination. The results of the examination showed that there
was no infection with worm eggs and protozoa in pigs. Case animals also do not have
diarrhea, appetite increases and animals actively move.
